Got up at 6.15am from a random dream which included trying to go skiing but not actually leaving the garage, chinese people, a tree and a roof rack.

Went for a short run around the local lake with MrsHD and a friend.

Got a couple of site visits to attend this morning and then maybe a night ride if it doesn't freeze its tits off outside. Then an early night.

Gorgeous sunny ride in this morning - lovely stuff.

Now bored, about to drink some coffee and drop some colleagues off to catch a flight. Then back to work to drink coffee and eat lunch.

You say 'with' but do you mean they were chasing you and screaming? That's one of the few things that would make me run. I mean my Mrs, I have no idea how scary Mrs HD and friend are.
Working from home again today, not very exciting. Looks quite nice and sunny out, not that I've been out yet. Taking the girl into school for a little while shortly. Then buy some supplies. This will probably be the last week of working from home, our customers come out of hibernation in March. I will then start early mornings so I can take a couple of hours out during the day to deal with the girl. Unfortunately that means I will have to drive a lot and less time for riding. Hopefully it won't be for too long.

Tired this morning. Minion hunting continues, at least it beats real work which is rather busy at present. Also trying to arrange downhill related things which is getting a bit complicated to fit around everything else.

Meh. Baler fault chucked in just to add to all the other problems.

Coil, actuator, switch, check if there is a current, check reverse operation solenoid... humph. Might just sit here and sulk then go back to work instead of enjoying the sunshine with some pedalling.
I blame the little people. I think Seano has had enough of me and has sent the Leprechauns...

Meh second day in Solihull in a row, alarm clocks shouldn't go off before 5.30

Bright side, I'm having a warm lunch
  • I wish I was the boss so I could make use of this lovely dry day and go cycling.

    Oh wait, I AM!!!!!

Oh second wait, I'm up to my bloody eyeballs in work so can't go anywhere.

    Morning ladies.

Glad to see you all survived your weekends and Monday. may go an Italian in town after work given that i can't see myself escaping until 7 at the earliest.

Need to email Rodeo labs later and find a way to ask, when you send me kit can you avoid putting any prices on it and just label it team kit please.

    Ciao

Nice ride in this morning (like most people had it would seem), briefly broken up by a massive crane trying to go across a very busy crossroads, spent about 15 minutes deciding how likely I would be to die if i tried to go round it, luckily it moved before my boredom got the better of me!

Works ok, sun is out, not too shabby for a Tuesday I suppose.

Still full of a cold, new bike remains unridden, doing a 165 question questionnaire as part of a due dillegence with a foggy brain, copious amounts of non alcoholic beverages and chocolate consumed during the day.

Other bits and pieces taking a decent shape and off to the lakes on Friday.

    Hopefully minus a snotty nose...

What was so important that you couldn't drop in?!

I have heard it called lots of things but 'Rodeo' - isn't that a bit YMCA?

Sooooo bored at work today that 2 of us of fell asleep in the office.

Oh well, at least I got a nice 10 miler in the sun in on the way home, bit of brake fettling with Dirk (any idea why I can't get both front brake pads sitting flat against the rim - at the moment both rear and one front sit fine)?

I may leave it until the morning....

  • Night ride accomplished. Big light ran out of juice 10km from home, I hit a grid and a slow puncture left me with about 1psi as I rolled onto the drive.

    Now relaxing with a G&T.
