Specialized Big Hit Rear Shock for Mountain Use

I have a Specialized Big Hit with a RockShox Vivid R2C 215mm eye to eye with a 450lb Nukeproof spring.
I am using the bike for mountain use and not so much downhill use anymore.

The rear shock is a bit saggy and soft for mountain use, when i sit on the seat it drops quite low and it's really bouncy. No good for riding up mountains etc.

Can someone recommend something for what i need? 215mm would be a minimum as it would sit rather low with anything shorter.

    Remember, what is mountain use?

    I wouldn't be using a big hit for anything but DH, if you aren't doing DH, get the right bike, it's just not designed to be peddled uphill!
    Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

    As above wrong bike, but you need to use the right sized shock - stroke and eye to eye.

    You could try a heavier spring.

    You're never going to make a big hit climb well. The suspension linkage is designed for downhill and not compromised for climbing ability.
    Even if you could get a shock the right size with a lock you've still got terrible geometry for climbing.
    Sell it and get something more suitable.
