I went hunting for a cheap road bike to get me too and from university and I came across this Olmo Giro. I took it into my local bike shop and was surprised when they told me for parts alone it would be worth £400. Could any of you tell me anything about the bike and verify this/ estimate how much it would be worth as a whole? Thanks

Ha ha ha, just because it's got Campagnolo on it doesn't mean it's valuable - unfortunately your Olmo isn't adorned in C-Record in Century finish from the early 80s but lower-rent Mirage and Veloce parts from the 90s.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

It is kinda retro cool though. Give it a really good clean, change pads and cables, grease up what needs greasing and it won't blow your socks off but will make you smile.
