R.I.P. Terry Wogan I liked his wit.

"If the present Mrs Wogan has a fault, and I must tread carefully here, then this gem of womanhood is a hoarder, she simply refuses to throw anything away........ which may go some way to explain the longevity of our marriage!"

    Something like that, Frank?

I too found him amusing. Enjoyed his self deprecating wit.

I listened to his morning slot on Radio 2 for many years. He read out a few of my letters which was always a thrill, it was often as I was driving in to work.

I was sad to hear this morning that he'd gone.

The older I get, the better I was.

true, but there must be something in it, the oldest people often tend to live the longest.

Will everyone please stop bloody dying. Terry was cool - very, very witty and always bought a chuckle to Casa Falle.

I used to listen to him on the way to school and throughout my early adulthood. Mick Sturbs, Janet and John. He was such a great witt and I will remember him mostly for the following:

While I never got into the Radio 2 show (too many in jokes) Eurovision was a highlight of the year. Post modern telly presenting long before the phrase was invented and long before Ricky Gervais and Graham Norton came along. Blankety Blank was in the same vein.
