Hello,
I have spotted a second hand Santa Cruz Tallboy in a medium size.
Please could anyone advise as to whether this would be appropriate for me at 5' 7" tall with a 30" inside leg.
Thank you
Steve

Depends more on your reach than legs. Might be on the large size. Find a shop that sells them and sit on one.

Almost certainly too long as it is, if it comes with a layback seat post then swapping to an inline will reduce the cockpit length by the equivalent of one size and is a cheap fix.
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

Thanks, I managed to find a size chart on the Santa Cruz site and according to that I should be okay. I fall well within their recommendation for a medium range bike.
All a bit confusing but the only way I suppose would be to try it out.
My problem is that its in the south and I'm in the north.
    I appreciate the advice.
