Suspension fork travel

Hi,I'm trying to work out the suspension fork travel on an old damaged set of forks so I can get a pair of rigid forks but suspension corrected,the forks are suntour and the only label I can see is: sf9- xct -v2 -d -26-80 does this mean they are 80mm? They are off a trek 3900 alpha frame,cheers

    I don't quite understand your question. Why do you need to find out the travel if you are getting a rigid fork? Just measure the stanchion and subtract about a centimeter.

    Just measures from the axle to the crown. Most rigids give an axle to crown measurement.
    Travel can be tricky to measure, some forks it's basically the visible amount of stanchion but some are a little less than that.
