Scott Addict HMF frame - built up with the SRAM Red parts that survived my wife's crash a couple of years ago and a random 105 chainset and Rival rear derailleur we had knocking around and it makes quite a tidy winter commuter for her to complement her nice bike (also an Addict) She can't use it as her good bike as it's almost exactly the same frame/colour scheme I have on my good bike and we can't do matching bikes when riding together."Mummy Mummy, when will I grow up?"

Dammit - just bought a swathe of the Ted Baker 60% off stuff from Wiggle - added that Castelli jersey into be able to use the £40 off code.
Shirts work at around £33 each with the code - no idea of the quality or fit, will decide when they arrive whether they are keepers or not.Felt F70 05 (Turbo)

Garmin Vector 2
Trying to bring a bit more structure to my training this winter...
And less reliability. I feel for you as I know around 8 or 9 people with vectors. all have had issues. get them back to the vendor and get a quarq or power2 max. I wish I were kidding. 2 I know have the vector 2's and have seen no improvement. when they work they are fine...
My Vector 2's I have had since the summer have been troublefree, and very easy to install.
Very pleased with them do far.
Loving the data they give me - reaffirming suspicions that a left knee problem gives me a 4% power imbalance, and showing that my power phase is equally skewed between left and right.
The best part for me is the consistency. I'm just starting out with using a more scientific approach to training, and my FTP and ramp tests have been consistent every time I've done themFat chopper. Some racing. Some testing. Some crashing.

ProBikeKit email popped up in my inbox with a 1 hour flash sale so bagged another Conti GP4Seaons for £32 as soon as it arrived. Bought some Chinelle stems so I could finish lacing the wheel build up, could fit them when built but easier on a bare hub.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0

It's a million miles closer to a road bike than anything I've ever ridden before.
First impressions - horrible. Geometry is weird, going to feel different, but right now, just plain wrong. Handles designed by someone with hands the size of a 5 year old - shifters aren't under my thumb where they should be.
As far as 'quick' goes - I was grumbling about it being no faster than the Scalpel.....until I realised I still had 3 or 4 gears in the bag. So, it will be quick. Bad traffic lights this morning so I couldn't really get a decent comparisonWaterloo - White City
