Hello guys, so in transport I damaged my left Shimano 105 shifter brake lever. I ordered the part to replace but does anyone here know how to fix it and replace it? I noticed how to replace the nameplate but how just the brake lever?
http://si.shimano.com/#seriesList/18/57 scroll down to the bottom and you'll see the "ST-5700" heading. Click on the blue "SI" link and it will give you instructions on how to remove/replace the lever on the right side of the manual.
Thanks for the help everyone!! I appreciate it! I bought them from eBay Canada from a taiwan bike store called mybicycleparts. They were $ 64 CAD or 30 British Pounds. At least hear in Canada, it was much cheaper then buying the whole shifter! Bike parts are more limited and pricer in Canada although when they have a deal on a bike its a really good deal on it.

Seems like you may as well get a new shifter at that price
