Afternoon forum people

I have a wheelset built on novatec hubs to run Campag 11 speed.

I want to change the freehub body(another contentious issue) to be able to run SRAM 10 speed.

I have to know what model the hub is before I can source the new freehub.

Any ideas on how to id the hub ? It has no part no marked on it ?

Many TIA
Regards

    Have a look at this.

NB I've ordered a few things from BDop and never had a problem; don't be put off by the distance.

    Thanks for that Des

My other issue is that I cannot get the freehub off as I haven't got a thin enough 17mm spanner to fit

You need a special spanner called a cone wrench.

Or you can grind down one of your conventional spanners.

  • I ended up writing some wheels off as a result of not getting an Easton freehub body... most annoying.

I can get the replacement freehub not a problem from cycle clinic.

I am aware that there maybe an issue moving the spacer from driveside to non driveside when changing from Campag to SRAM on a novatech freehub ?

It maybe just easier to run an ambrosio converter cassette and leave the freehub as it is ? :o  :?
