Cycle to Work Scheme

I am looking to make use of my companies Cycle to Work scheme. The criteria is I am only able to spend up to £1000.

I am only looking for a full suspension mountain bike which limits my options to the following:

Cannondale Rush 29 3 2015
Mongoose Salvo Comp 2015
Giant Stance 27.5 2016
GT Verb Elite 2016

Before I had a family I had a 2004 Kona Coiler and would ride a mix cross country/ free ride/ downhill. I am looking to ride a similar style and need a bike suitable for the Welsh/ Scottish trails.

Any advice before placing an order would be much appreciated!!

Which scheme is you company using?
Some schemes limit the shops you can get the bike from.

Congratulate your HR department on joining one of the very worst schemes available!

Of those the Stance is just about to an acceptable spec for the price, it has the best damped and lightest forks and reliable Shimano brakes and isn't too bad for the asking price. It doesn't have the glamour of the Deore rear mech but the latest Alivio is pretty much as good anyway.
