Trek Emonda SL 6 Seat Mast Clamp

Hi, I have recently broken my seat mast clamp on my Trek Emonda SL 6 by overtightening it and breaking the thread.
It's the clamp for the mast on a trek bike that slides over the build in seat post of the frame.
Luckily I had bought a new longer seat mast a few months ago and had a spare clamp which I separated from my old shorter sear mast.
Trek don't seem to have any information on there web site on where to purchase a replacement part.

Has any one had this problem and got information on what to purchase as a replacement clamp?

  • Your best bet for a replacement part is to find your nearest bike shop that is also a main Trek dealer. I recently wanted to replace the two metal "guards" that stick to the frame to protect it when the chain drops off the inside of the inner ring. I thought they'd be really rare, but I called my LBS (who is a Trek dealer - I originally purchased the bike from them), gave them the model and year, and they just ordered them - arrived a week later.
