Hi Guys,
Been a long long time since I visited here. Also been almost 2 years since I rode my bike following a back injury in Morzine. Anyway I've bought a house just around the corner from stile cop and have spent the last month turning the lower ground level into a workshop and was wondering how everyone else sets up their bike storage / workshop spaces at home. Looking forward to getting back out riding in the next week or 2.

Cheers, still a bit to do. The 'dirt' wall needs finishing but I don't have any more old copies lying around, also need to load up with tools / bikes which are still in the house at the moment.0

Won't it be a PITA carting them down the stairs each time? Does your basement have tight ones too?

Although it's a basement the house is on a slope so at the back it is level with the back garden and I have a large gate straight from the drive into the back. So I do have to take them down about 7 steps in the garden but they're big wide ones with no walls, It's only accessed from outside so I don't need to take them through the house. Linked to the house alarm though which is handy!0 -
and a pool table would be rad!0

It's good but there are a few things missing. First it needs a loud music system, got to have tunes while working. It also needs a beer fridge obviously. A comfy old sofa would be essential for those times when just escaping from the wife but not actually doing anything.
Most importantly it needs posters of scantily dressed women. Personally I like retro 90's posters in my workshop, the life size poster of Pamela Anderson is particularly tasteful.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350 -
Going to start making me today. I have a very big shed that's currently full of crap, it'll be very 'home made' but should suit me fine.

So here's my days work, a rather smaller version of the OP's! Just need to sort a couple more boxes, get a workshop stand and some more tools. Jeez, I need more bike money!

Looks alright that, I'll try and get a photo of mine tomorrow, think it's smaller than yours but it's got more bikes in it - only problem is it's always dark as its underneath a huge willow tree. It's hidden and it's hard to spot if you're not looking for it - but I need a light for working in there!Framebuilder

this was mine last year bit on the full side whilst i was doing the welding and replacing the bottom 4" of panel work on my mates split screen,a lot better now with 3 push bikes and a motorbike in there now,and a lot tidier0
