Hi, the only available models at my local store are Specialized Sirrus Elite (grey) and Scott Metrix 20 2014

The price is same about 800€.

I have read that Scott discontinues the metrix series so I am little worried about this.
I think that Scott has lighter frame and better components.

what do you think ?

I'd not worry about if the Metrix got discontinued, all the the parts are made by shimano and the like.

The Scott is set up to be a faster bike. Mostly a road bike with flat bars, the Sirrus is more of a Hybrid with V-brake and (lower level) MTB parts. So the decision is more about which bike suites you better than which is better.

Of the two I'd take the Scott for a fast decent(ish) quality road commute, if the road is poorer quality then the more relaxed riding position etc of the Sirrus would come into it's own.
