Washer on DMR pedals

Hi all
I've just received a pair of DMR V12s.
My current pedals are the wellgo basic ones u get sent with wiggle.
I had received them with my road bike, with instructions to fit the washer in to the crank before the pedal.
The DMRs arrived without washers.
Should I fit them without washers? Of course I'm asking about fitting them to my MB
