Superstar nanos discontinued?

was about to order nukeproof evos, but due to the overwhelming positive reviews and what I've read here on the nanos, decided to hold out and get nanos when back in stock.
I emailed superstar last week, and just got a reply that nanos have been discontinued and that the new product will be UK made and much better?
Anyone knows what's that about?
I suppose the new ones will be much more expensive now?
Nothing in the email about expected dates?

It's a new version of the nano they are producing, saw a video of the start of the production the other day so can't be too far off. Will go see what I can find.0

Ok, from what I can see, they should be available to order in July, will be about £40 and called the nano x0

Probably, nothing wrong with that though, exactly the same pedals as one of the nukeproof offerings, not sure which off the top of my head though.
They are a small company making components and selling other components made in the Far East branded under their name. So where CRC are now a very large company selling other people's products, superstar are a much smaller business, selling in my opinion some good value components that are either made specifically for them or superstar branded.0 -

I read somewhere that Carbon cycles Exotic pedals are the same exact pedals as the nanos? Is that true?0 -

So what's the big hype with nanos then?0 -
The fact they are usually the cheapest among the equals, why pay more for the same pedal? Nukeproof Electron can be found for nearly as little, the rest can come up quite a lot dearer at times.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

The electron is different though, uses a plastic body, the nukeproof neutron is the same pedal as the nano.0

Hello the nano is indeed discontinued, purely because the factory who has made them for us for 8 years was offering stupidly long lead times of 6-8 months for delivery. because of this we could never get enough supply in to keep up with demand on a popular product line. i know other brands are having exactly the same issues, infact we are also manufacturing for some other European brands in the background...
So we decided to bring all the pedal production back inhouse. Its based on the nano but we have tweaked the design to make a bigger lighter platform, custom made thru pins which come with spares and 2 lengths in the box so you can customize and its all manufactured inhouse in the UK. The custom CNC machine and robot which makes them has taken longer than expected to get up and running but they are in production 24/7 currently and we expect the first batch to co on sale in 2 weeks.
Heres a video of the robot in action:

any questions please let me know, Superstar!0
