Headset bearings

So the headset bearings in my 2013 Felt Z95 need replaced. The lower bearing especially. There are no markings on the existing bearings so I've tried measuring them with a steel ruler. I measured them as 40mm OD, 32mm ID, 6mm width. This doesn't correspond with any actual bearing size so I'm obviously a complete numpty.

The closest I can find are: 30.15 x 41x 6.5mm 36°x 45° 2RS 1-1/8" Headset.

Does this look right? I've asked Simply Bearings but they don't seem to know. The UK distributor Saddleback were no help, and Felt themselves haven't replied.

    I can offer no help at all I'm afraid, but I'm keeping an eye on your thread since No. 1 Son has a 2013 F95 so at some point we'll need to know the answer :D

    ETA: For the 2015 Z95 it says this of the headset:

    FSA NO.38/42B, 1.125" - 1.5" sealed bearing.

    Does your 2013 beast have a tapered headtube / different sizes top and bottom? Could be worth looking up the FSA references?

    The 2013 bike seems to mention only FSA 1.255" integrated, so maybe just FSA No. 38??

    No the two bearings seem to be identical, so it looks like only the 2015 model is tapered.

    You might try aire bearings, good prices and they have a list of headset bearings on their web site, yours should match up to one of them.

    Thanks for that. I had seen Aire Bearings on eBay, but hadn't heard of them before. I'll go with them and take a punt that 30.15 x 41 x 6.5mm 36°x 45° is right.

    Looks like a standard 11/8 " Cane Creek standard bearing.
    Should be no problem finding one....

    Used Aire a few times. Seem to be better made than the FSA rubbish that fall apart after one winter.
