1.5" head tube - fork options?

Guys,
Looking at a frame for a project build.
Frame spec states:
"Oversized 1.5" Head Tube & 34.9mm FD, 36.0mm SPC"
I have no idea what that means lol!
Seems to be fitted with a reducer headset for 1 1/8 forks at the moment.
Is it possible to fit tapered forks?
If so what head set would I need?

Yes.Is it possible to fit tapered forks?
The lower bearing of the headset will need replacing with one that can be used with a 1.5" steering tube.If so what head set would I need?
The upper bearing won't need replacing if it's made for a 1 1/8" steering tube.

Your frame will take just about any standard of fork steerer if you fit the correct headset.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350
