Headsets! What shop I get?

I been looking at headsets to replace me factory stook headset that came with my cube pro ltd! I am looking at a headset for cx and under £60! My old headset was a size: 1 1/8" tapered.

I have no real ideal whats a good on or not! Please could someone helf me out, thank you

    Make sure you get the right type. As well as the steerer size you need the right cup size to fit the frame and either internal, semi integrated or external etc.
    Other than that either Cane Creek or Hope would be my choice.

    I am trying to get my handleing sorted down to a tea, I like pin point sharpness and I am not getting that with a bike! I rode my mate bike for a bit and he recomend me to up upgrade the headset.

    Well, that's not a reason to change a headset. If they turn ok they work. Look at the bars, stem, fork, wheel and hub interface first!

    Changing the headset will make absolutely feck all difference to your bikes handling.

    Short stem, wide bars is what you need..

    It works if you get the combination right. A nice low bar height helps a lot as well, so does good brake lever position.
