Huge Time Trial. Likely to see lots of changes amongst the top 10.

Does anyone know the start times?

Is that CET or BST ?

At work so not sure if I will get a chance to see any of it.

Will be interesting to see how Contador does after two crashes, took a hit to his left leg yesterday

Really difficult to predict this. The two main favourites are both below their best to some unknown degree. Then you've got even more unknown quantities like Zakarin.

Be interesting to see how Konig and Kiryienka go.

Contador is complaining about soreness and that he can't stay in his normal TT position, so we can probably expect him to come out and absolutely smash it.

The ability to recover from crashes and hard efforts is what sets GT podium finishers ahead of also rans. It's not easy a GT and winning one week races is a whole lot easier.

Contract year for Porte. A chance to show he has the resilience to cope with a GT. Good read.
If he wants to get a chance of riding the Tour de France as team leader anytime soon, he needs to prove that he’s capable of performing well in a GT over three weeks. It won’t be easy to make it onto the podium in Milano but he simply can’t afford to give up.

Contador back in pink, Uran second and Cataldo third
    left the forum March 2023
  • Zakarin to do something suspiciously supernatural today or as the article above says "unbelievably strong"

Interesting to see how well prepared Aru is today. By all rights he should sneak into the top 20 on the stage, anything better would be extraordinary.

Didn't realise it was going to be wet again! The GC guys are going to have to be careful on the descents...

MY MAN Kiry is a machine.

He's got good form over long TT's.

Olympic Bronze, no? Or was that suit-somethong-or-other?

The worst thing about Contador losing GC leadyesterday is that today we dont get to see him ride the tt in pink which he always does so well.

Mind you Porte's kit is superb.

    Is that a joke?

Not surprising. Vasil is a beast and a medalist at the Worlds TT.

Either Porte's knee is really f**ked or he has given up completely.

Er, no. Just under two minutes. Brailsford did suggest that he wouldn't be as strong at the TTs as we might expect, but I'm assuming he's just not motivated anymore.

Porte nearly 2 min down on team mate Kiry already. Such a shame.

Or it is quite hard for a 55kg rider to monster a 60km TT.

Don't really blame him much after the last few days

Edit: haha I see we've knocked another kg off his weight :) He'll be 50kg by the end at this rate.
