The new ride.

Frameset: R872 size L; from the clearance section..
Other bits from my Trek 1.5..
Chainset: FSA gossamer megaexo nbd
Saddle: Selle Italia SLR Flow
Bars: Deda RHM 1
Stem: Deda Zero 1, 80mm (not going to be slammed so don't tell me to)
Shifters: 5700
Rear Dérailleur: Tiagra
Front Dérailleur: 6700
Seat post: FSA Gossamer scaffold pole.
Brakes: 5800 (nice brakes, poor pads)
Rims: Ambrosio Excellight
Hubs: 5700
Spokes: 32 front and back, black and round
Tyres: Michelin Lithion 25's
Bar tape: Deda, already on the bars!
Special Helicopter tape on chainstays etc (OK, electrical tape is all I had and white looks better than green/yellow)
Apologies for posting with the saddle bag, out on a ride and only photo i've done so far.
I'll do a proper photo with the valves lined up etc later.
Rides way smoother than the trek, lack of chatter on rough road surfaces has given me bags more confidence into the corners on fast descents.

    I've found self-adhesive patches (eg. the Park Tool ones) work well for inconspicuous frame protection. Nice looking bike.

    Regarding the looks I umm'ed and ahh'ed quite a bit before buying as I wasn't really that sold on the looks or the aggravation of the internal routing for the front dérailleur. There are not many Ribbles around here and I've never actually seen one of these so it was surprise Once I pulled out the box; it was much more Aero-Slender than I though it was going to be and totally sold on it. Still not keen on how the Front Dérailleur cable exits the frame though. Might try to fashion a mud deflector to sit in between it and the back wheel or maybe a one of those brake cable gaiters you get on V brakes.

    You are of course correct. Unfortunately I had only just built the bike up before the IOW Randonnee so had to take my trusty torque wrench with me for minor fettling and tightening just in case. Didn't need it but you never know!
