Looking for an entry-level MTB and have no idea what exactly I am looking for. Any advice greatly appreciated. This is one I have seen online but don't want for it to be super cheap and break the first time I ride.

    I thought that would be the case. I've been looking at the Rockriders and will probably end up with the 520.

    It's not a bad bike for £250, but it's not a capable 'mountain bike' with those forks.
    Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.
