viewing stage 1 tour de yorkshire

I'm in Teesside and hoping to ride to and watch next Fridays stage at either castleton or Rosedale. Normally cycle with my dad whose working and wouldn't like such a hilly ride anyway. Anyone from my area planning the same and wouldn't mind sharing the load?
