Has anyone used these?

Mine is back to front. The cadence meter reads on the phone as sped, and the speed sensor reads on the wahoo fitness app (and Strava) as speed.

Has anyone used one of these to its proper use? I am guessing perhaps mine is faulty?

Your link takes me to a heart rate monitor. Which I have bought from deal extreme and works perfectly
  • Sorry, yes I use the HR monitor fine too

Even in Wahoo app speed is registering as cadence, and cadence in mph. Do I need to switch something? I was considering just swapping the sensors round but you can't because the speedo one has the magnet that fits on the spoke - and the cadence sensor a magnet that fits on the axle

The smaller part of the sensor is cadence, you have it this way right?
And the people bowed and prayed, to the neon god they made.
  • Yep :) this bit is reading mph, and the larger one with battery inside is reading RPM

    Its faulty I'm guessing?

Not too sure I understand what you are saying with regard to the magnets, a magnet is a magnet i.e any magnet with a strong enough field will work with these sensors. As you can see here I have used a rare earth magnet on the end of the pedal spindle for cadence.

  • I see

Its just mine are the wrong way around. I assume it doesnt really matter.

I have raised the issue with the seller - but suppose I could use this still but swap the sensors :)

Thanks for the help guys :)
  • Cadence comes from the crank sensor, speed from the wheel.

I don't pay mutch attention to either.
I'm sorry you don't believe in miracles
