Creaking bottom bracket. Okay to keep riding.

So, the BB30 on my Synapse has started creaking after less than 300 miles. It's a bit random and isn't creaking all the time. While being an irritation, am I okay to keep riding for now?

    Yes it'll be fine i've never known a creak to stop a ride, but passing riders might give you funny looks.

    Could try removing the crank and giving the bearings a generous blast of spray lubricant. The creak also could be something else like shoes rubbing on the cranks,cleats,pedals, saddle rails etc. so worth checking those.

    It's BB30, so creaking is almost inevitable. Best use some Google-fu in terms of a fix - wantonly spraying lube will only flush the grease out the bearings making it worse.
    Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
