Finally completed my build on a 2014 Equilibrium Disc frameset acquired via Paul MIlnes Ebay shop. No real problems with the build although the disc brakes took a little time to set up as this was my first attempt at them. Only done a quick 15 miles so far but all seems fine and the 5800 11 - speed is ultra smooth. Before the flamers get involved I know the flipped stem and spacers are not recommended but it works for my aging bones.

Looks like a very well specced build. Good stuff.

    Any idea on weight?

Haven't put the whole bike on the scales yet. Frame + fork weigh 3.1kg and the wheels come in at 1.9kg so the total build weight is not going to trouble the weight weenies forum.

Will try to get a total and post it tomorrow.

Just checked on our digital bathroom scales and the total weight is 10.5kg for the bike as you see it in the pic above. Perhaps not too surprising as it is the 2014 frame with the steel forks rather than carbon. Also the disc brakes and wheelset will inevitably add a bit of a penalty.

Not too bothered really since I'm only using it for fitness and the odd sportive. Also I could do with shaving a few kg from my body mass - so after that hopefully things will be evened out.

Early impressions are excellent but I need to get a few more miles in to judge how it compares to my other builds

Very tempted to build one up for next winter
