Giant trance 27.5 1

So January 2014 I wanted a trance but I couldn't wait for them to come back into stock soI brought a cannondale Jekyll, which I loved but I soon found flaws with it. As it was my first bike I wasn't realy sure what I wanted from my bike geometry/size wise. It soon became apparent that the Jekyll was too tall for me but the reach was good. So I had the plan to ride the Jekyll until the end of the year and then build up a trance. But along come Paul's cycles again with a 2014 giant trance 1 for £1550 I just couldn't resist. It arrived today and i couldn't be happier with the sizing.

    I have agreed to sell the Jekyll to a friend for a £1000 and the fact I was going to buy a dropper anyway, it's only really costing me £400 which isn't too bad.

    And I am having trouble getting the pictures to work sorry

    I actually wanted the 2 like yours when they were first released but the dates kept getting pushed back, so I got the jekyll. But with my mate offerings £1000 for the jekyll and a good month overtime wise I jumped at the chance when it went up on Pauls cycles for 1550 a nice 750 reduction. The only things I've changed are the bar and grips which are now a Easton haven carbon 711mm I got for £40 from crc a couple of months back and some renthal super soft grips.

    Not planning to much for this bike except a pike/rev and some light bikes on hope wheels by the end of the year

    I reckon pikes would be good, the revs I've put on mine are good but there's a little voice in my head saying I should of gone with the pikes.

    I've found the standard bars are pretty good, got a cheap 760mm set to try though sometime soon.

    I must admit the giant bars are a lot lighter than the stock cannondale one and the 711mm carbons are a little short I might have to switch back or get some longer carbon bars.
