sram vs shimano cassette/chain

Hi, just after a bit of advice if possible. Got a 9 speed chainset (Scott s20 road bike). Need to replace the chain and cassette as starting to slip a bit. Does it matter if I mix Tiagra hg50 cassette with sram pc951 chain or should I stick with sram pg950 and pc951 chain?
