Just had a quick read - great !

As I want to do something similar, I've kept the blog open and read in detail - looking forward to it :D
All the gear, but no idea...
  • tl;dr He plans to cycle from Fort William to Aberdeen. Probably about 165 miles.

Good luck! Quite an undertaking. I know logistics are a nightmare as I've been trying to figure out how to sensibly to the C2C - Whitehaven to Sunderland @ 130 miles for a while now and it all ends up being a big chew on.

Of course to do a proper Scottish C2C you should really start at the Point of Ardnamurchan which is worth doing just for the scenery and roads but getting there is a pain at the best of times.
