Cannondale Scalpel 1 alternative?

A friend of mine is looking to buy a carbon, full suspension 29er, and has asked me for some buying advice.
I have recommended the Scalpel 1, which is on sale at the moment http://www.paulscycles.co.uk/m1b0s154p5 ... BON-1-2013
It would be where I would spend my money, but can anyone suggest alternatives, which are of the same spec and around the same price?
He is unsure of the Lefty forks ( I love them), so I would like to provide him with some alternatives.
For that price and spec, I am struggling to find something similar.
Any ideas?
