Best mudguards for Boardman Road Sport?

Hi there
I'm sorely tempted by the Halfords deal on their older Boardman models at the moment.
I'd like to know what mudguards people have used for them as it would be a commuter bike for me. And if they've used them with Schwalbe Marathon Plus tyres. Concerned about clearance...I've had the Crud ones before but find they don't stand up to the day to day commute.

Says on the Boardman website;
-Compatibility for full length mudguards
- Alloy fork with clearance for mudguards
So the brakes must be long drop type so you should be looking a SKS/Bluemels P35 full type guards,
