Athena nrake levers with Shimano ultegra callipers

Hello again.

There seems to be confusion over whether i can match Shimano ultegra long drop callipers with Athena brake levers. The more I google the more I am confused!

I only need the long drop during the winter months.


Is it possible to marry the two? The set ive bought don't come with long drop callipers.

    I don't see why not... the other way round might be problematic as Shimano levers have no release buttons and Campagnolo brakes have no lever to open them.

    Lever throw is similar across the brands
