Pairing Garmin Edge 705 with magnet-less cadence sensor

Hi

I cant pair my new Garmin magnetless cadence and speed sensors with my Edge 705. have followed the instructions but no joy - has anyone else had any issues with this?

    Are you telling the head unit to look for separate speed and cadence sensors? It's took me while to work that out when I set mine up first.

    The 705 doesn't support Cadence only sensor id's.

    You need a combined sensor like the GSC10
    And the people bowed and prayed, to the neon god they made.

    Yep as above; Garmin web site doesn't list the 705 as a compatible device.

    It won't. Cateye sensors aren't ANT+

    My decathlon one lasted 3 months, gsc10 lasted around 10
