When i first got my campag zonda wheels the freehub noise was pretty damn loud, was like this for a few hundred miles but after a while it settled down and eventually just got quiet.

Ive put about 2000 miles on them now and all of a sudden, its got really loud again. Has anybody any ideas why this has happended?

The only thing i can think that i may have done is got a bit crazy with the degreaser on the cassette and some has soaked in

You might be right about the degreaser.
Take the freehub body from the hub and clean and grease the ratched and pawls.
  • Gonna have a look tomorrow, hoping its as simple as that

    cheers

My PX carbon tubs freewheel is the noisiest thing I've heard. Not even the remotest chance of sucking someone's wheel. :D Might try packing it full of grease.
I ride a bike. Doesn't make me green or a tree hugger. I drive a car too.
