A slow puncture

I have a slow puncture - it's on my front wheel. But no matter how hard i try, I cannot find it.

I'm only losing about 5psi a day so I can go 3 - 4 days before I need to pump it again.

There are no repairs to the tube and no obvious nicks or damage. Holding it underwater doesn't show any leaks. What can I do?

Make sure when checking underwater that you have plenty of air in the tube and when underwater double check that there are no bubbles coming from the valve. The valve core may be loose. Also wiggle the valve as sometimes there is a cut at the base of the stem that only reveals itself when moving the stem back and forth.
  • I agree. Stick a new tube in. Life's too short.
