In the process of repairing some Vittoria tubs, the ones with a removable valve stem. Is it possible or worthwhile bunging some sealant in through the valve thread? The bit down by the inner. I am taking a guess that the inner is latex, its blue.

  • It is if you plan to use the tyre quickly... it has 2000 miles life tops, if you can kill it within 3-4 months, then go for it... if you plan to ride it very occasionally, then I wouldn't use sealant... as it will dry and gunk inside.

Ta. Not worth the bother. Only on my restoration project.

It can be a fix to get a few more weeks of life in 'em, otherwise wouldnt bother.
