help needed marin forks

Hello, can any one help me. i want to fix suspension forks to my old ......i think 1992 marin muirwoods mountain bike. Can any one tell me what i can buy, just low price basic forks will be fine as its quite old now. thank rod.

I take it you have a threaded fork steerer - but what diameter? An inch?0

Do the current forks have a long enough A2C that suspension forks won't ruin the handling?Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0
