Any MTB rides, groups e.t.c. around Didsbury/ S Manchester?c

I have just moved back to Manchester, living in Didsbury. Are there any groups, organised rides or shop rides in the area. Also if there is anyone else looking for a local ride buddy let me know. It would be nice to have someone show me where's best to ride, if anyone is feeling generous : wink:
I also like to ride up in Sheffield Wharncliff, around the Peaks and UK Trail parks. So if you have any thoughts get in touch

Cheers Craig24 I did take a look at Manchester Mountain Bikers on Meetup but they have too many needless rules and a rather silly way of judging new riders abilities. Where else do you ride Craig24?
tim000 I have never been to delamere forrest so it would be great to meet up for a look around. I have plans for this weekend but I could do a trip next weekend if you were up for it?

Or in the summer, I head over to Rivington and Lee Quarry.
During the weekends I try to head out to Lee Quarry or Gisburn.
