Barnacle geese.

At the age of two days old these poor mites have to jump from their nest 400ft + and bounce down sheer rock faces into a whole heap of scree. If they survive that they then have to avoid the attentions of hungry foxes.

If you can bear to watch it was on life stories on the beeb thursday evening.

Riveting stuff indeed.

    Cant wait to see this one, but are you seriously telling me they got bigger Kahunas than a man who can half wheel random man down St Georges in the wet with two dodgy hips. :D

    One day a goose will have a brain wave, and pick the chick up to fly down the mountain to the river.

    But in the meantime we will watch and cringe as the poor little buggers bounce of the rocks.
