Worth changing the title to "Best Specialized shoe" then?

Have you tried any other brands? The best shoe is the one that fits the best. If that's Specialized then great, if it's another then get them! Plenty of good deals on as both LBSs and online retailers look to clear stock.
    Trail fun - Transition Bandit
Road - Wilier Izoard Centaur/Cube Agree C62 Disc
    Allround - Cotic Solaris

Think the Boa dial on those is pants.
Pretty sure it rotates to open as well as close (rather than pull to release/open).
It opens/closes in different directions on left/right shoes too.

This post is surely irrelevant? You're asking for subjective views of what is the best road shoe. Your best bet is to go to a shop and try a few on. At least then the view as to what is best for your feet will be your own.
I ride a bike. Doesn't make me green or a tree hugger. I drive a car too.

Make sure you have not been spoilt by the carbon soles and are happy with what £100 gets you from Specialized.

I think the Boa dial on those is great.
It rotates to open as well as close (rather than pull to release/open).
It opens/closes in the same logical direction on the left/right shoes too. Which can confuse some people..
