Morning all. It's been a while since my first post on here, speculating as to which mountain bike I should purchase. A few months down the line and a lot has happened; bought the VooDoo in the end and have zero regrets as it's fantastic, however I have made a few small modifications since getting it:

Deore M610 Double crankset with Superstar Components I/O narrow/wide chainring (36t)
SLX 675 Brakes
SLX shifter
SLX Shadow Plus rear derailleur
SLX (possibly) cassette
Sram PC1051 chain
On One Tech bars cut to 750mm
Bontrager 60mm stem
Crank Brothers Cobalt 2 seatpost and
Charge Spoon saddle

Having ridden for a while, I got a taste for more gravity fueled fun, so I made the completely impulse decision to invest in a downhill bike; enter the 2007 Norco Atomik

So, there you have it. Rate, slate or just let me know what you think.

p.s. The saddle on the Norco isn't in that position by choice

  • Well I'll go first then. The Voodoo looks like it'll be pretty fast, like what you've done with a fairly sorted bike - good value these Bizango's.

The Norco looks nuts. Looks like it'd be a lot of fun though.

A good contrast - must be weird getting off one and onto another :)
