Pasteys TT bike (Argon 18 E-112)

Just got into time trialling so I built myself a bike a few weeks back. Most of the bits came from Ebay and my own personal stash. Going to have a proper bike fit and learn how to ride it over the off season ready for next year.

I've always enjoyed your lovely road bike builds - they all somehow just look 'right'. Your talent obviously extends to tt bikes as well!

Yes they can be adjusted and after much messing about I have settled on their current position. I tried them rotated further forwards but I found I had to stretch too much to change gear. Lovely bits of kit though.

Cheers Harry, gone are the days I used to just throw as much anodised componentry as I could at a bike, I actually think before I act these days. Got a new build or two on the way, hopefully they will meet with your approval

Even the Alloy E80 looks a great frame and it is basically the same weight as the E-112, saw one at a TT a couple of weeks ago and it is a very handsome, fast looking bike. Never really considered Argons before I got this but now they are on my radar I quite fancy trying one of their road frames.

Lovely that. Owned an E112 a few years ago. Sold the frame and wish I didn't now. VERY VERY stiff yet not overly uncomfortable.

That is one beautiful bike. Do you constantly change bikes, or are you simply earning well with a sole focus on cycling?

I dont change bikes as much as I used to but I do have too many. I do not spend that much on bikes as I am a prolific bargain hunter and I love the challenge of building a decent bike as cheaply as possible. The Argon was built with a mixture of new and slightly used parts for well under £2000, which I think is reasonable for the spec I have achieved.
