Alpina Integrated headset

Chaps (and chapesses),

I've never fitted an integrated headset before. On the photo below, could you tell me what each piece is and what tool I need to fit. And what I need to be careful of?

I know, from left to right: top cap screw, star-fangled nut, ??CROWN RACE??, bottom spacer and top cap, ??, bearing, bearing, ??.

    Thanks mate.

    Where does the micro spacer go?

    And this forum really needs to reinstate the image scroll bars or turn on automatic resizing... there's a last item beyond the bearings, if you right-click and open the image in a new window. What is this piece?

    Micro spacer goes on top of upper bearing, red jobbie is your upper race

    Slide the crown race (same way up as in photo) onto the forks. Make sure the crown race is at the bottom of forks.
    Slide the bearing (same way up as in photo) on top of the crown race.
    Coat bearing with waterproof grease if desired.
    Turn other bearing over and place in frame (again coat in grease).
    Slide forks into frame.
    Tap star fangled nut (other way up) with suitable object into the top of the (alloy only, not carbon) steerer tube 15mm down.
    Slide the red thing on the right (other way up) onto steerer and into the bearing.
    Then thin spacer if needed.
    Then cap- Check cap doesn't rub on frame.
    Install any spacers (if required)
    Next the stem. Make sure the steerer tube is 2-3mm BELOW the top of the stem. If not use spacers to adjust.
    Lastly the top cap and bolt. Tighten bolt just enough to load bearings. Tighten stem bolts.
    Check for any play or stiffness- adjust if necessary.

    Am I right in thinking the split races mean I won't (or shouldn't) need to use a tool to install them?

    No tool needed, they should just slide on pretty easily.
