No Leukemans ? He was going for 5 in a row and is in good form? Would have been a record

Looks like Bjorn Leukemans has made the decisive break at the Druivenkoers. He's won this race for the last four years.
  • 4th! I'm sure he wasnt on the start list this morning - if he was 3rd he would of equalled the record of someone called Roger De Vlaeminck !!

Him getting his 3rd after four wins - beaten by another chipper !

"I'm disappointed," he told Directvelo. "The course was not as tough as in previous years and everyone was on my wheel. There were two or three fast guys in the front group and then it's hard to win.

"The course was not demanding enough to make a difference. Maybe I was the strongest, but there was too much time to recover between the two climbs on the final circuit, which is why the bunch was so big. When we arrived on the circuit, I was disappointed because I knew it would be difficult to win. I will do the GP Plouay on Sunday."
