Morning Losers!

I'm knackered. No idea why.

Crazy feedback bloke never turned up, so nobody died. I was looking forward to that, too!

Today, more soldering is taking place. After work, I'm meeting a mate for a drink, which should be nice. Sadly I can only have one as I then need to ride home.

Laters!

    Nobody died, yet.......

    Morning

Another day which has started with canoeing, now a 10 mile commute :)

Later is another canoe followed by a nice restaurant, shame about the work in the middle

    Morning gimps,

Today I may work for a change. Recruited 4 new minions so far this week to replace naughty ex-minions. Might take on a couple more today just because I can.

Treated myself to a Nexus 7 yesterday. Lets be honest, its so much better than looking at porn on the phone!

With that in mind, have a nice day!

    Morning crudites, nearly midday here....

Feeling jaded due to jetlag as I'm now 9.5 hours ahead of where I was 10 days ago, but otherwise OK, have a day off tomorrow and an offer of a guided off road ride on Sunday which will be great as I keep getting lost off road here, downside is I'll be on a rental bike and not mine - with Euro brakes (ho hum!).
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

    morning all,

I may go for my first ride on the road bike later as i'll only have an hour before I have things to do and people to see.

other than that today is my Friday so I think i'll have to have something fried.

Work for me then collecting the boys school uniform at lunchtime. Off out to a pre-works meeting (there's always a pre-something meeting these days) then helping B-in-Law move house this evening.

He'd better be providing refreshments or I shall be cross.
    Advocate of disc brakes.

You see just mentioning a road bike makes things go all small and useless, whereas look what happens if you say mountain bike........ as a German colleague would say - Wiener Schnitzel.

Still enjoying my hodilay, although the end is approaching fast. Been out for a drink with a couple of friends from round here, one owns the bar and the other runs the company we book through. Out for a posh meal tonight with the friends from home that are staying here too. Tomorrow is the last full day and will be finished at the wine festival in the village.
Not looking forward to the drive home or next week.

Scary black magic stuff that. Plus dragging 4 of us down here with lots of tut that we won't use makes the car a bit more reasonable, especially when you add in hire costs as we need a car once here. Add to that a diversion to spend a few days in Verona visiting family all conspires to make driving more reasonable. When the kids are old enough to leave behind the EPO and I will probably fly.

Spent the day learning how to make people shoot better, also had a bit of practice myself. Was actually fairly enjoyable but unfortunately missed out on a chance of a ride as it ran late.

Now preparing for home time tomorrow.

Plus we want people to use cars!
