I've wanted one of these since I got my R848 last year and keep seeing them when I'm in my LBS but couldn't justify the price for a "winter" bike, then a couple of weeks ago this Frameset came up on eBay and I just had to have it! I had a Veloce Groupset that I picked up on here a while ago and already had the Mavic Aksium's on my current winter bike. So all in all it has turned out to be a reasonably priced build.

So far I'm very pleased with it although I've only test ridden it to set up the gears etc but will using it on my commute tomorrow.

Too sweet for winter. get some race gaurds for the 848 :)
  • I know I really don't want to get it wet! But that's why I bought it and it does have proper guard mounts, I can't do another winter with those bloody strap ons

Stunning bike, it was on my short list for a winter frame too.

Looks stunning in a retro way with that colour scheme, like a lot
Pain hurts much less if its topped off with beating your mates to top of a climb.
