Hello, does anyone know the model and year of this bike? I can't make it out. Thanks.

Have you got a picture of the Downhill bike? That isn't one.

The bike is a Saracen Xcile hardtail fitted with completely unsuitable forks, the ones I have seen usually come with something more sensible.

Either way it's a bike that isn't much good at anything, uphill, downhill or on the flat.
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

As Rookie says, it's a Saracen Xcile, and I say it's probably circa 2003-5?

It's also not what would be classed as a downhill bike, more of an old school dirt jump bike ;)

  • Thank you for the answer. Sarcasm, nice.

That's no downhill bike, it's a piece of junk.

Looks like August is going to be another record low for new members sticking around beyond their first couple of posts.

Keep up the good work guys :)

At least we arent cynical enough to claim that was a downhill bike!

It is a 2004 Saracen Xcell, and those are actually the original forks.
