Is it just me or is this a ridiculously overused phrase? Seems to pop up very regularly in every magazine, website, or race commentary. Don't commentators or journalists have access to a thesaurus? Perfectly legitimate phrase but when you hear/read it 17 times in one week it starts to grate a bit.

    I am with you. The only way to be resplendent in a cycling jersey is to wear one with no logos on it.

    Resplendent - "attractive and impressive through being richly colourful or sumptuous."

    No chance!
