How much each team earned:

1. Astana 539 330 €
2. AG2R-La Mondiale 362 880 €
3. FDJ.fr 151 720 €
4. Movistar Team 117 050 €
5. Cannondale 99 390 €
6. BMC Racing Team 99 180 €
7. Tinkoff-Saxo 80 250 €
8. Omega Pharma-Quick Step 77 930 €
9. Katusha 75 700 €
10. Belkin 67 200 €
11. Europcar 63 410 €
12. Giant-Shimano 63 210 €
13. Lotto Belisol 35 060 €
14. Trek Factory Racing 32 020 €
15. NetApp-Endura 31 480 €
16. IAM Cycling 26 610 €
17. Garmin-Sharp 25 360 €
18. Sky 24 240 €
19. Bretagne-Séché 20 600 €
20. Cofidis 18 540 €
21. Orica-GreenEdge 15 610 €
22. Lampre-Merida 9 830 €

Not much for many, when riders plus staff amount to about 20 people, on average perhaps being paid 1000-2000 Euro per week, and there's hotel expenses, etc. I wonder how much Lampre paid Horner for riding for them.

Off the top of my head, I would have expected to find Trek higher up the list (to have earned more), Katusha lower down (to have earned less) – obviously I’ve forgotten whatever success Katusha had and falsely attributed to Trek more than they had.

Ignore what the top 5 in the GC and the jersey winners brought in to their respective teams, then AG2R were top earners followed by Astana and Omega, while FDJ were one of the worst 9 earners – good job they had Pinot.

Thanks. Katusha would have come from Kristoff stage wins then the rest from JRod on the climbs. Click my signature link and it gives a breakdown of all the prize money.
