Two of us entered Ride London at the same time.
We both submitted the same estimated time.

We now have emails showing that my friend is starting two minutes before I am.

He says this is because the organisers have recognised he is a superior athlete.
I think it is because they realise he needs a head start on me.

What do you think?

I think that the start times are based on the relative price of fish at the time of calculation.

I think they just don't want you to have any food at the feed stop. This implies he is a fat farker, and as such, needs to be full earlier.

It's the complete opposite of this

It's because the OP is the fat knacker so his friend needs a head start to get to the feed stop before him so he has a chance of anything to eat at all before greedy guts gets there

Excellent input. I have decide to tell him that......

He is a old fat cyclist that needs a head start and a chance to eat all the pies before I get there.

Just need to find a taxi driver with a big enough car for two bikes that doesn't mind a 0400 pickup on a Sunday morning.

I think... if you read your email carefully, you are both starting the race the day before in the childrens under 5's class, you'll need to check the stabilisers before setting of tho' or get your dad to - enjoy :D

Nice idea, but I entered for the London 100, not the London 200.
