Bought myself a Cannondale SuperSix Evo 105, with upgraded Mavic Cosmic SLS's :)

Had a free fitting session which included shoes, pedal and cleat position.

Next i will upgrade the handle bars for ones that aren't quite as wide, and maybe carbon!
Also gonna try and find a nice green Fi'zi:k saddle.

Chuffed with the buy :D

    Bike looks good.

Fizik do a saddle in Cannondale green and also matching bar tape

Edit: I'm with Arran. Get some more green on it :D
  • Nice bike, shop should have swapped the bars for you if they did a fitting.....

I am so close to buying one of these at the moment, be interested to hear how you find it on a decent run.

I would consider one too,but these SuperSix frames have been out since forever,I would expect a full overhaul for 2015 but nobody knows for sure yet.

Looks really smart with those wheels!

Why would it need a full overhaul?

A good frame doesn't stop being a good frame because it hasn't changed for a while

I would expect the actual frame weight to be reduced as they redesign the series... trickling down from the the top end machines... but as mentioned a well designed and performing frame is only as good as the rider on top of it.
Bragging rights for the cafe... plenty people still racing on Caad8s caad9s and myself caad10....

I would get a Sagan special if I could afford... still wouldnt win me anything though apart from envy rage.

Cannondale = good bikes... despite the annoyances of that company - fiddling about with BB30 standards and wittering on about frames in turbo trainers..

Bb30 paranoia is the only thing holding me back personally, this seems like a necessary fix in the new Evo if they create one

    Update on the bike..

Rides and handles amazingly!! Well worth getting :)

Got white ITM Alutech Wing 38cm handlebars, Green Fizik bar tape, and a couple of Elite Fluro Green/Black bottle cages.
Ordered and waiting for my Green/white Fizik Arione R3 saddle!! (ignore the temporary red saddle off my old bike in the pictures)

+1 on the black cages - the current ones are horrible.

    Road - Dolan Preffisio
    MTB - On-One Inbred

I have no idea what's going on here.

Don't be silly - carbon breaks when you ride it! Purely decorative.

Classic design...prefer the horizontal tob tube to sloping ones
I hired an Evo Supersix with Ultegra Di2 in Mallorca, very light and a lovely ride
